For shipping and local pick up

If you would like to pick up the eggs locally then you can contact us using the form at the bottom of the page and let us know that you would like to use the local pick up option. You do have the option to pay cash at time of pick up but note that pre-paid eggs are priority due to high levels of people who never pick up eggs, this causes a loss to us and the people on wait lists for eggs.

There are currently no hatching eggs available. We should have some bantam, and LF Buff Orphington eggs available soon, however due to hot weather and the late season, most of the birds are not currently laying consistently, check back soon!

We do our absolute best to be sure you get exactly what you pay for. We package fresh eggs individually wrapped in most cases in a paper towel to help wick off moisture and provide a cushion for the egg while allowing it to breathe. I also place them in an egg carton so they do not get knocked on their side during transport. I hope to get the foam shippers soon but for now this is the best I can do. In the case of duck eggs the eggs may be shipped in a carton bottom but with no top. In these cases there will be sufficient padding around the eggs and on top of them so they are not jarred out of the carton. I use whatever extra padding I have handy, this can be shavings, paper strips, packing peanuts, etc. I will be sure that they are packed the way I would want to recieve them. They will be shipped depending on your payment I will ship Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday to ensure the eggs are not on layover in the PO during the weekend. If you pay Saturday or Sunday the eggs will make it to the PO on Monday. If you pay Monday they will go Tuesday, pay Tuesday they will go Wednesday and if you pay Wednesday and I get they payment and eggs are available that day I will do my best to make it to the PO that day, if not you will recieve fresh eggs to be shipped on Monday. In some cases I take requests for Saturday shipping. All eggs are shipped Priority and usually make it to anywhere in the lower 48 within 2-3days. I always include a Delivery Confirmation that way I can tell you why your package hasn't made it to you or if it has and I haven't heard from you. I cannot guarantee hatchability rates. Once the package that is well marked FRAGILE and HATCHING EGGS leaves my hands I cannot control how the USPS handles it. We just have to hold them in good faith. I also cannot control your incubator. By purchasing these eggs you understand that I guarantee the eggs you are recieving are as fresh as possible and I packaged them to the best of my ability. You also understand that shipping hatching eggs is a risky business and can be difficult. A hatch rate of 50% is usually as good as it gets on shipped eggs.
